Maryville Videographer & Camera Operator
If you need a videographer in Maryville or Blount County, I’m already here.
I’m a camera operator and FAA Part 107 drone pilot based in Maryville, just outside Knoxville. I work with production companies, agencies & direct clients, either stepping into an established crew or bringing a lean production setup when the job calls for it.
My work includes multi-camera interviews, commercial production, documentary, aviation, live sports, drone & specialty-camera work.
Some shoots are pretty straightforward. Others get complicated.
I’m good with both.
Camera Operator & Video Production in Maryville
A lot of my work starts with a pretty simple question: what does the production actually need?
Sometimes that’s one camera and a small footprint. Sometimes it’s a multi-camera interview with lighting, audio, monitoring & a teleprompter. Other times I’m joining an existing crew and simply need to show up ready to operate.
I own and work primarily with Sony cinema cameras, including the FX6 and FX3, along with a larger camera, lens, lighting, support & monitoring package when the production needs it.
The goal isn’t to bring every piece of equipment I own to every shoot. It’s to bring the right tools for the job and make the day run smoothly.
Multi-Camera Interviews
Multi-camera interviews are a big part of what I do.
I can step in as an additional camera operator or handle a complete interview setup with multiple cameras, lighting, audio, teleprompter & client or director monitoring when needed.
I’ve worked on documentary, corporate, branded and long-form interview productions, and I’m comfortable working with an established director or producer as well as handling a smaller production directly.
Commercial & Branded Production
I work with agencies, production companies & businesses on commercial and branded video throughout Maryville, Blount County, Knoxville and across East Tennessee.
That can include interviews, B-roll, product or service content, tourism, hospitality, aviation, industrial work and other projects where you need somebody who can come in, figure out the environment and get the shots.
I travel regularly for production work, but being based in Maryville makes Blount County the easy one.
Production Crew Support in Maryville & Blount County
If you’re a production company coming into East Tennessee and need a local camera operator, gear or production support, that’s a large part of my work.
I can work within an existing camera department, bring a camera package, handle a smaller multi-camera setup or help solve some of the oddball stuff that comes up on location.
I enjoy complicated shoots and unusual environments. That’s usually where having the right crew and somebody who can adapt quickly matters the most.
I’m also listed with the Tennessee Entertainment Commission as a Maryville-based camera operator and drone pilot.
Drone & Specialty Camera
Drone is another part of what I do, but it has its own job.
I’m an FAA Part 107 certified Remote Pilot and FAA Safety Team DronePro with multiple aircraft for different types of commercial aerial work.
For details on my aircraft, FPV capability and specialized FAA operations, see my Maryville drone pilot page.
I also have experience with underwater camera work, aviation filming, vehicle rigging, gimbals and other specialty-camera environments when a production needs something beyond a traditional tripod setup.
Based in Maryville. Working Wherever the Production Goes.
I’m based in Maryville, Tennessee, and regularly work throughout Blount County, Knoxville & East Tennessee.
I’m also available nationwide and regularly travel for production work.
Being local doesn’t mean the work has to stay local. It just means if your production is coming to Maryville, I’m already here.
