I use a small set of DJI platforms depending on the location, airspace, and what we’re producing:
- Mavic 3 Cine — cinematic aerials for commercial work (clean movement, high-end capture)
- Avata 2 (FPV) — controlled FPV-style angles for energy and motion when the project calls for it
- Mini 3 — compact option for tighter spaces and lightweight setups where appropriate
Flights are planned around the deliverable and completed using the appropriate FAA authorizations/approvals as required.
